Management

The Department of Management consists of five academic program, 25 faculty members and 1200 undergraduate students.

Our biggest need is support for student travel to attend professional development opportunities. Each program offers such opportunities to its students but many students do not have the financial means to participate. For example, we encourage our Human Resource Management students to join SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management) and participate in student competitions. Our Hospitality and Food Management students are encouraged to join local chapters (Indiana) of professional associations such as Meeting Planners International. Our Residential Property Management students are invited each year to attend the National Apartment Association conference. Our Entrepreneurial Management students would like to get more involved with events that offer networking opportunities with successful entrepreneurs. Finally, our Business Administration students would benefit from participation at several Academy of Management sponsored events that take place across the Midwest.
