Athletics

Ball State athletics is committed to providing an excellent experience for our student-athletes in competition, the classroom, and in the community. We want to build a championship culture for our 450 athletes across 19 sports and terrific spirit squads that creates a legacy of success and serves as a source of spirit and pride for Cardinals everywhere.

As the landscape of intercollegiate athletics continues to change, the financial investment required to achieve in the classroom and win championships remains critical. Each of our teams have needs in areas such as equipment, travel, recruiting, and scholarships. Forward momentum also requires a renewed focus on sports performance and the overall wellness of our student-athletes. With continued investments in strength and conditioning, nutrition, and sports medicine, we will see both individual growth and greater team performance.

To realize this vision we rely on your generous support to provide our teams the tools necessary to compete at the highest level. On this One Ball State Day, you can be a champion for a specific team or for all Cardinals by contributing to our Cardinal Varsity Club accounts. Together we can help our student-athletes fly to greater heights, both here at Ball State and for the rest of their lives.
