The Teachers College Dean’s Excellence Fund provides vital discretionary resources that allow us to seize new opportunities, strengthen alumni engagement, and enhance the student experience. These funds are essential to maintaining our reputation for excellence and fostering a dynamic learning community.

Your generous support helps make a meaningful impact by funding initiatives such as:

  • Professional Development Opportunities – Providing students and faculty with access to workshops, conferences, and skill-building experiences.
  • International Field Placements – Supporting global teaching experiences, including student teaching programs in Department of Defense Education Activity (DoDEA) schools in Germany and practicum opportunities in England.
  • Alumni Engagement and Recognition – Hosting alumni gatherings across the nation and the Teachers College Alumni Council, which selects scholarship recipients, TC Alumni Award honorees, and plans special events.
  • Expanding Student Assistance and Program Support – With your support, we’re working to develop a process to assist students with short-term financial needs and essential program requirements, such as assessments and professional development activities for teacher candidates.

Your gift will help us create new opportunities and resources that make a lasting difference for our faculty, students, alumni, and education partners. Join us in shaping the future of education by contributing today.
