Indiana Academy


Located on the campus of Ball State University, the Indiana Academy for Science, Mathematics, and Humanities is a unique and nationally ranked public high school that brings together high-ability and gifted high school students from all over the state and an international program that reaches around the world. 

Financial contributions to the Indiana Academy have made a difference in the lives of countless students over the past 35 years. Our alumni continue to impact and enrich the world through their love of learning, dedication to the betterment of the human condition, and a quest for excellence in every facet of their lives. Donations in recent years have contributed to the following: 

  • Decrease of 23-54% for all residential students room/board costs.
  • Visit Scholarships to further reduce costs for prospective students.
  • No cost laptop rentals to students unable to purchase one. 
  • Continued renovation of Indiana Academy classrooms, including three more spaces in 2025.

Your donations to the Indiana Academy will help to ensure that this exceptional educational opportunity continues to exist long into the future.

Crisman Family Legacy Challenge
When the Indiana Academy receives 150 gifts, a $3,000 donation from the Crisman family be will unlocked. This donation is in memory of Dawson Crisman (Class of 2019) and Mason Crisman's (Class of 2026) grandparents, Delbert and Judy Crisman, who would both be very proud of all their grandsons have accomplished at the Indiana Academy.

In honor of 10 years of the Young Alumni Council, 250 gifts from graduates of the last decade to any University Fund unlocks a $250 donation from the Young Alumni council to the Student Leadership fund.

100% participation of Foundation employees unlocks $500 from Foundation and BSUAA President Jean Crosby towards the Ball State Fund.

VP for Enrollment Planning and Management Paula Luff will match dollars raised from EPM employees, up to $500, to the Jack Beyerl Student Emergency Aid Fund.
