Do you love FREE community events?
The Office of Community Engagement is a proud contributor of resources and supplies for festivities that celebrate our community’s richness and diversity!
Examples include:
At Muncie’s Bridge Dinner, the Washington Street Bridge is closed for the night, lined with community tables, and a fun, festive atmosphere. Bring your own dinner or grab something from a variety of food trucks, and sit down with your neighbors to enjoy music, local vendors, and a unique view while you eat!
Your donations make the $2 Tour of the Village possible! Participating Village merchants offer hugely discounted items (ranging from $2 to totally free!) while three stages provide a plethora of entertainment. Past tours have included pet parades, mechanical bull rides, and fun contests.
The IDEA Conference, which celebrated 10 years of bringing together members of Muncie’s community to listen, learn, and meet like-minded individuals, is one of the keystones of our mission to support thriving, Muncie neighborhoods.
Your giving will help us continue to provide essential financial support to these events, and others!
Thanks for your support!
