The Dean J. B. Black Fund
In honor of Dean Emeritus J.B. Black and his many accomplishments, we proudly establish the J.B. Black Fund in recognition of his lasting impact on the Miller College of Business. As Dean from 1973 to 1984, Dean Black made numerous contributions to the college and its programs, but his greatest legacy is his dedication to student success.
The J.B. Black Fund supports finance and insurance students in things such as pursuing professional credentials that enhance their academic experience and career prospects. The fund provides resources to develop and offer comprehensive review programs—available in the summer or online—to help students and alumni prepare for industry-recognized designations. Additionally, the fund awards scholarships to help offset the costs of testing fees, making these valuable credentials more accessible.
Join us in honoring Dean Black’s legacy by making a gift to the J.B. Black Fund. Your support will empower the next generation of business leaders and ensure that students have the resources they need to succeed.
