Featured programs

Indiana Connection Lounge

The Indiana Connection Lounge is an innovative, first-of-its kind networking space where the University hosts alumni, employers, and students. Always open, intimate and approachable, the Lounge and its programming is designed to facilitate one-on-one and small-group introductions. It’s a more intentional and strategic approach to career development and building social capital, with comfortable furniture, a coffee bar with refreshments, and the latest technology.

Students can connect with employers, integrate their skills developed from the classroom and co-curricular spaces, and feel empowered to engage and make connections with alumni and employer partners.

Skills Infusion Program

Full-time Ball State faculty members are invited to apply for a training and collaboration experience. The goals of this program include helping students better articulate transferrable skills and to provide a gap analysis tool that students can use to reflect on skills not yet practiced or learned. Alumni and employer partners volunteer their time to share recent and relevant examples with faculty cohorts to bring industry examples into the classroom.

Career Coaching

There is nothing more important to our Career Coaches than helping students achieve their goals. We help students explore, make connections, build skills, and support their transition from student to post-graduation success. Students can meet one-on-one with a Career Coach specializing in their major and career concentration.
