The Department of Applied Business Studies, created in Fall 2020, offers undergraduate degree programs in Fashion Industry Studies, Hospitality Innovation and Leadership, and Property Management. Our programs are student-centered, focusing on skills needed for success in today's industries. Students experience applied, practical, and immersive activities with professionals in the industries while engaging in high levels of community involvement.
For One Ball State Day 2023, we wanted to feature a few of our students to share what makes our programs unique, impactful, and promising to their future endeavors and how you can help make that happen!
Your donation to the Fashion Industry Studies Program will support student travel expenses. Our program is proud to offer and an immersive experience from start to finish! With that, comes field trip experiences that can be costly to students. Donor funds will support those costs, making them more attainable for all of our students.

Your donation to the Hospitality Innovation and Leadership Program will support student travel expenses. Whether its field trips, shadowing experiences, or conferences, these funds will expand the program’s ability to take our students to various opportunities outside of the classroom to enrich their experience.

Your donation to the Property Management Program will support the costs of the professional credentials materials and exams offered to our students. Graduates of the program have the opportunity to leave with their bachelors degree, as well as professional credentials that are significant to industry success.
