The Rinker Center for International Programs is Ball State’s resource for international study and activities. Comprised of Study Abroad, International Services, Academic Engagement and Global Initiatives, and the Intensive English Institute, we support international students, scholars, and students studying abroad. This year we invite you to celebrate One Ball State Day with a gift to benefit our international students.
Rinker Center Emergency Fund
Imagine traveling to a foreign country to study at a new university for a semester, a year, four years… You are far away from the place you call home, far away from family and friends. Then, an emergency occurs. Perhaps you become extremely ill, a family member at home passes away, or maybe your home country puts stipulations on your expenses. What would you do?
Imagine you are a parent, sending your child to a foreign country to study, unsure of what your child will experience in this distant place. Then, they get in a car accident, or maybe you become seriously ill? What would you do?
The Rinker Center Emergency Fund exists to provide help in these types of situations. We have worked closely with International students in need for decades. Your donations help to support these students when they come to us for help.
Therefore, we invite you to join us in supporting and building up an emergency fund that provides International Students with a safety net while abroad. Donate to the Rinker Center Emergency Fund on One Ball State Day, April 7, 2020. #WeFlyInternational
