We are only passively participating in One Ball State Day on April 7th because we know there are people struggling and your gifts may be going to other more urgent needs. If you are able to give at this time, your donation will aid future students in stabilizing their careers and becoming strong leaders in their communities. We must remember we will recover from this, and on the other side new students will have their moment to learn and lead. Donating on OBSD will allow those aspiring students to build those same connections that have allowed us all to succeed.
This isn't just another day; we are in a historic moment. We have all been taken by surprise. Every day we may feel unsure and vulnerable. One advantage CICS alumni and students have is the CICS foundation which prepared us to overcome challenges.
As alumni and supporters, we stand up, look at an uncomfortable situation and change it into an opportunity to help our teams and ourselves grow. We can uplift those around us and keep moving forward. The toolbox that our program provided us allows us to stand up and lead through ambiguity, to communicate effectively, and to navigate technology.
