For 27 years, Sponsored Projects Administration has hosted the Ball State University Student Symposium, a scholarly poster session open to all students from Ball State (undergraduate and graduate), Burris Laboratory, and the Indiana Academy. This important event challenges students to present a creative or scholarly project while competing for scholarship awards and gaining valuable insight from faculty and staff judges. The event is open to the public and exemplifies the University's commitment to excellence in education.
In 2021, 110 projects were exhibited digitally on the Omeka platform, representing 187 students: 137 undergraduates and 50 graduate students from each of the seven colleges.
Since 2015, the Student Symposium has provided an opportunity for over 1,400 Ball State students to showcase their research and creative endeavors.
