We are proud of the work being done at Ball State, and as members of the Parents Advisory Council, we want to make sure our university provides opportunities for the dreams of all students to fly. With your help, we can. We believe in our children and support them every day, and we’re not alone. Alumni, friends, parents, corporations, foundations and others who are committed to student success, gave over $20 million to Ball State last academic year. We are grateful for private support as it helps offset what tuition and fees can’t cover.
We’re inviting you today to join us as parent donors. It’s true that every gift adds up to make a difference, and we look forward to reporting the results to you. Donations to the Parents Fund support immediate student needs, campus events, and scholarships.
Generosity from parents has supported many campus-wide programs, including emergency aid for students; Late Nite, which provides free campus events for students; and scholarship dollars to support outstanding students; and the Cardinal Kitchen, a student-run food pantry. Collectively, our financial contributions as parents have a direct and positive impact on every student at Ball State University.
