Featured programs

Faculty Externships & Skills Infusion

The Career Center’s Faculty Externship program connects the classroom to the workplace. Faculty who complete our Skills Infusion training can apply for summer externships with Indiana employers, gaining firsthand insight into industry expectations and workforce trends.

Faculty bring these experiences back to campus by integrating real-world examples and career competencies into their courses. Through the broader Skills Infusion initiative, the Career Center also partners with faculty, alumni, and employers to help students recognize and articulate the transferable skills they develop during their academic experience.

Career Coaching

Our Career Coaches help students explore career paths, build professional skills, and prepare for life after graduation. Students can meet one-on-one with a coach who specializes in their major or career interest area.

Students also access career resources through Handshake, Ball State’s hub for jobs, internships, and employer connections.

Power Up Your Résumé with Quinncia. Through Quinncia, students receive instant résumé feedback powered by machine learning and predictive analytics. The platform analyzes hundreds of résumé elements and provides a personalized score with actionable suggestions so students can strengthen their applications in seconds.
