What is the Learning Center?
The Learning Center is part of University College, which offers student-centered programs and services that enhance students’ success. The mission of the Learning Center is to enhance the academic success of Ball State University students by providing free peer tutoring (appointment-based, drop-in, and embedded tutoring), Supplemental Instruction, and test proctoring accommodations for students with disabilities. In addition, the Learning Center serves as a scholarly pre-professional experience for undergraduate and graduate student employees.
Fall 2025 Stats:

2026 One Ball State Day fundraising goals:
Our goal for One Ball State Day this year is to raise at least $1,500 for our Learning Center. This fund supports initiatives that enhance student success by providing resources such as training and professional development opportunities, including the annual Peer Academic Success Conference, for Learning Center student staff, including tutors, Supplemental Instruction leaders, and graduate assistants. Additionally, donations help fund essential needs such as supplies, materials, software, and technology to ensure the Learning Center remains a valuable resource for all students.
Your gift will help tutors and SI leaders like Brianna, Oliver, and Ray!
