In the Department of Psychological Science, our students don’t just sit in classrooms learning about research. They conduct it. Present it. Publish it. Apply it.
They design studies. Work in labs. Partner with community organizations. Build skills that employers and graduate schools actually look for.

But here’s the reality: access to those hands-on opportunities isn’t always equal. And sometimes, financial barriers can limit their ability to say “yes” to unpaid research presentations, conference travel, internships, or practical training experiences.
That’s where you come in.
This One Ball State Day, we’re raising funds to make sure our students don’t have to choose between affordability and opportunity. Your support helps remove barriers so they can gain the real-world, résumé-building, confidence-growing experiences that take them beyond the classroom and into their futures.

When you give, you’re not supporting a department, you’re investing in future clinicians, researchers, educators, and changemakers. Funds raised on One Ball State Day support priorities such as students and helping offset the personal costs of hands-on, career-building opportunities.
Let’s help them move from learning psychology… to living it.
