Supporting the Future of Healthcare: One Ball State Day
The undergraduate and graduate programs in the Ball State University School of Nursing offer numerous options for a bright future in the nursing profession. Our goal is to prepare our nursing graduates for the challenges of the workforce, and there are many ways you can help!
Simulation is an invaluable part of education in nursing. Task trainers, high-fidelity simulators, and even virtual-reality headsets give students the opportunity to prepare for the practice environment with hands-on learning. Making sure that Ball State students have access to this technology requires an ongoing financial investment. To help support initiatives like this, consider contributing to the School of Nursing fund (#6301).
You can also support nursing students with financial need by donating to the Nursing Student Impact Fund (#6306), designed to remove financial barriers for students including tuition, textbooks, food security, rent/utilities, and more. Growing students into healthcare professionals requires faculty who are prepared with both practical and theoretical knowledge. Supporting the Nursing Faculty Development fund (#6303) ensures both new and experienced faculty have opportunities for their own continued learning and development.
After graduation, our Nursing Alumni Society keeps our graduates connected. The Nursing Alumni Association fund (#6302) helps their continuing efforts to support events like our nursing pinning ceremonies and reunions for nursing alumni each year.
Please consider giving a donation on One Ball State Day 2026 to the BSU School of Nursing. Your gift will support the education of the next generation of nurses and help them enter their careers of helping others. Together, We Fly!
