One Ball State Day 2026

Whether supporting our students through innovative guest artists and programming, helping our students audition and compete across the country with travel assistance, contributing to our mission of making Delaware County a better place for all its residents with programs such as our work with the Muncie Community Schools and Muncie Burris, or helping those students who face dire financial need based on their personal circumstances, our donors continue to make a huge difference in the lives of our students.

This year, we are particularly hopeful that our theatre and dance family and friends will focus on and support our traditional funds that give impact to students. This includes Theatre Scholarships (Fund 8360) and Dance Scholarships (Fund 8361), Theatre General (Fund 8303), Theatre and Dance Alumni Society Fund (Fund 8340), and our Theatre and Dance Showcase Fund (Fund 8316), All of these funds have generous matching gifts to share this year. 

Speaking of Matching Gifts, Theatre and Dance has a plethora of matches this year including the following:

• Thomas Murphy -- $25,000 Match for any gift to a scholarship account. 
• Tim Andrews -- $5,000 match has for Theatre Scholarships (#8360) in honor of longtime Theatre and Dance Alumni Society member Doug Long, who valiantly lost his battle with cancer this past year. 
• Ashton Hunley -- $1200 match to the O'Hara Family Scholarship (#8374)
• Jeremy Gussin -- $1000 match if 20 individual donors give by noon to Theatre Scholarships (#8360)
• Bridgid Kinney -- $1000 in Theatre Scholarships (#8360) by noon unlocks $1000
• Bridgid Kinney -- $1000 in Theatre and Dance Showcase Programs (#8316) by noon unlocks $1000 
• Bill & Sarah Jenkins -- $500 match for any alumni or current student who gives to the Alumni Society Fund (#8340) which helps support endeavors like the work of our Alumni Ambassadors.  
• Bill & Sarah Jenkins -- $500 match for any gifts to the Hunden Musical Theatre Scholarship (#8379) before noon.  

If we complete all of these matches, we will bring $70,400 of support to our students!!!! Please help us complete these matches by making a gift to any of these worthy funds!
