Who We Are

Dance Marathon is Ball State's largest student-run philanthropy. The student leaders who run Dance Marathon strive to engage in year-round fundraising and awareness efforts to support the children and families at Riley Hospital for Children. Each February, Dance Marathon hosts their incredible main event, which brings hundreds of Ball State students, community members, and Riley children and their families together. By fostering hope, healing, and togetherness, Dance Marathon encourages the Ball State University community to #UniteToChange. 

Your Impact

Donations to the Dance Marathon Leadership/Activity Fund will support operational expenses associated with the annual marathon event (e.g., production company, Rec Center staffing, food for all participants, games and interactive activities, etc.). Additionally, donations to this fund will support leadership development opportunities for Dance Marathon's student leaders, as a portion of the fund will be utilized to supplement travel and registration expenses associated with the annual Dance Marathon Leadership Conference. Because donations to this fund are used to offset the aforementioned costs, Dance Marathon is able to ensure all of the funds they raise will be shared directly with the Riley Hospital for Children Foundation. 

***Please note that gifts and donations to the Dance Marathon Leadership/Activity Fund will not be directed to the Riley Hospital for Children Foundation. All dollars raised for the Dance Marathon Fund will remain on campus and will support Dance Marathon programs and activities.***
