Online Student Support Fund

Financial stress is one of the main reasons our online students decide to put their education on hold, which is why Ball State Online established the Online Student Support Fund. The Online Student Support Fund provides small-dollar grants and emergency aid to students enrolled in an online program who face financial hardships that keep them from pursuing their education.

Financial hardships can come in many forms. Childcare costs, unforeseen transportation issues, health clinic visits, text books and supplies, and updating technology.

Many of our online and adult learners have full-time careers, families to look after, and other obligations in addition to their classes. They are already prioritizing so much ahead of their education that an unpaid bill can put them at risk of needing to drop classes in order to pay for emergency or unexpected expenses.

Our goal for the Online Student Support Fund is to not only raise awareness of the fund but to remind our students that we are here to help them succeed in any way we can. You are never alone when you are with Ball State Online. Please consider donating to the Online Student Support Fund. No gift is too small.
