Management
The Department of Management consists of three academic programs: business administration, entrepreneurial management, and human resource management.
Our most significant need is support for students to attend virtual and, in the future, in-person professional development opportunities as the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic allows. Each program offers such opportunities to its students, but many students do not have the financial means to participate. For example, we encourage our human resource management students to join SHRM (Society of Human Resources Management) and participate in student competitions. Our entrepreneurial management students would like to get more involved with events that offer networking opportunities with successful entrepreneurs. Finally, our business administration students would benefit from participation at several Academy of Management sponsored events across the Midwest.
