The Department of Psychological Science provides undergraduate and graduate students the opportunity to participate in research within the field of psychology not just as learners, but as active researchers.
Students investigate a wide variety of topics, and learn that part of the role of a researcher is to communicate findings.
However, students often lack the funding to travel to conferences either regionally, nationally, or internationally in order to present their work to other dedicated researchers. We hope to increase our funds for student conference registration and student travel costs so that our majors can not only present their work with pride but also have the opportunity to view other cutting-edge research as well as interact with professionals who can become collaborators.
